Jon Schaffer's Sons of Liberty - Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2) [2LP Vinyl]

Jon Schaffer, the visionary behind Iced Earth, Demons & Wizards, and Sons of Liberty, presents a powerful reimagining of his most unflinching work with Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2). This collection masterfully fuses the raw essence of the 2009 'Brush-fires of the Mind' LP and the 2011 'Spirit of the Times' EP, delivering a message that resonates with eerie prescience in today's challenging world.

Originally conceived as a gift to the world, designed for free sharing and amplification, these tracks were crafted with programmed drums to minimize costs and maximize reach. Sons of Liberty's music has always served as a stark warning, exposing the flaws in financial systems and the rise of authoritarianism. Now, as these shadows lengthen, Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2) stands as a timeless testament to unfiltered truth.

This release transcends partisan divides, offering a universal call for freedom as the foundation for peace and prosperity. Schaffer's lyrics champion pro-freedom, pro-humanity ideals that are anti-authoritarian and non-partisan, rooted in the unyielding principles of liberty. It's a powerful reminder that true empowerment comes from questioning systems that promote aggression and erode dignity, fostering unity through shared principles.
