Description
Between a Rock and a Hard Place is a solo rock album by John Ford, featuring reflective lyrics and energetic music. This two-disc CD includes an exclusive bonus disc of 21 career highlights.
Across a career spanning more than 50 years, Ford has worked in psychedelia, progressive folk, eclectic rock, punky new wave and music hall. His solo work highlights his melodic songwriting and multi-instrumental playing in power pop and acoustic-based rock.
The album combines Ford’s own songs with covers of Tom Petty’s “Walls” and George Harrison’s “The Rising Sun”.
