Description
Cruel World is Holly Humberstone’s highly anticipated second album, for listeners drawn to intimate, emotionally piercing songwriting. It explores the tension between pain and pleasure, with chaos and acceptance side by side.
Humberstone’s storytelling has earned her an Ivor Novello nomination for her debut EP and the BRIT Rising Star award in 2022. On this album, she enters a dark fairytale world where childhood relics, monsters and memory collide.
Cruel World is her most immersive, introspective and compelling body of work to date.
