Macabre [Limited Edition Blu-ray]

Experience Macabre (Macabro), the solo directorial debut of Lamberto Bava, son of the legendary Mario Bava. Starring Bernice Stegers (Xtro) and Stanko Molnar (A Blade in the Dark), this twisted classic of Italian horror is presented in an extras-laden Limited Edition Blu-ray featuring a brand-new 4K restoration from the original negative, produced in collaboration with Vinegar Syndrome.

The film follows Jane (Stegers), traumatized by the deaths of her son and lover, who retreats to a boarding house run by the blind Robert (Molnar). As Jane builds a shrine and calls out for her deceased lover, Robert and Jane’s daughter Lucy (Veronica Zinny) begin to investigate her increasingly bizarre behaviour.
