Description
Parachute is The Pretty Things’ 1970 album, reissued on CD with an 8-page printed booklet and six bonus B-sides from the album era. It’s a reissue for listeners exploring the band’s celebrated late-1960s and early-1970s work.
Recorded at Abbey Road Studios after SF Sorrow, the album blends post-psychedelic British rock with melodic invention and lyrical disquiet. Rolling Stone named it Album of the Year for 1970, ahead of releases including Let It Be by The Beatles and Morrison Hotel by The Doors.
