Description
Punk supergroup FAKE NAMES, featuring architects of punk and hardcore, deliver their third studio album, Punk Ruins. This release channels decades of collective experience into a sound that is immediate, electric, and uniquely their own.
The Band:FAKE NAMES is an all-star lineup of punk innovators, including Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Bad Religion, Dag Nasty), Michael Hampton (S.O.A., Embrace), Dennis Lyxzen (Refused, INVSN, The (International) Noise Conspiracy), Johnny Temple (Girls Against Boys, Soulside), and Mario Rubalcaba (Rocket From The Crypt, OFF!). Formed in 2016, the band's chemistry is immediate, blending their distinct musical histories into a cohesive and powerful sound.
Album Style:Punk Ruins is built on the collision of '70s UK punk, classic hardcore, and guitar-driven power-rock. The album balances sharp melodic instincts with explosive guitars, driving rhythms, and the restless energy that defines great punk rock. It connects the raw spirit of punk's past with the urgency of the present, creating a sound that is both familiar and forward-thinking.
Summary:Experience the raw energy and seasoned musicianship of FAKE NAMES on their latest album, Punk Ruins. A must-have for fans of alternative rock and punk.
