The Go-Betweens - Tallulah [CD]

Tallulah is the fifth album by Australian band The Go-Betweens, presented here on CD. It features multi-instrumentalist Amanda Brown, whose addition broadened the band’s sound and brought it more drama.

A pivotal album in the group’s discography, Tallulah bridges their early era and their more richly textured later work. Paste Magazine included it in its list of the best new-wave albums.

Standout songs include Grant McLennan’s “Right Here” and “Bye Bye Pride”, alongside Robert Forster’s “House That Jack Kerouac Built” and “The Clarke Sisters”.
