The Who Sell Out [audioCD]

Originally released in December 1967, The Who Sell Out captures a pivotal moment when popular culture, the counterculture, and the 'Love Generation' went global, marking the metamorphosis of 'pop' into 'rock'. This album, conceived by Pete Townshend and management as a loose concept album styled after a Radio London broadcast complete with jingles and commercials, features a collection of diverse and fabulous songs.

This edition showcases essential 1960s material, including the UK Top 10 hit 'I Can See for Miles', the Townshend 'mini-opera' 'Rael' (which contained motifs later used in 'Tommy'), and psychedelic tracks like 'Armenia City in the Sky' and 'Relax'.
