Tygers of Pan Tang - Electrifyed [Vinyl]

Mighty Music proudly presents "Electrifyed," the latest studio album from the pioneering NWOBHM legends, Tygers of Pan Tang. This release sees the iconic British metal act embracing a heavier, more aggressive sound while staying true to the melodic signature that has defined their celebrated career.

Singer Jack Meille describes the writing process as driven by the mantra, "The heavier, the better." The band aimed to recapture the thrill of powerful, heavy riffs without sacrificing the melodic essence characteristic of all great Tygers songs. "Electrifyed" draws inspiration from the raw energy of their early years, particularly their debut album "Wild Cat," and showcases the synergy of the current lineup. The result is a collection of tracks built on potent riffs, memorable melodies, and a renewed dedication to the heavy metal traditions they helped establish.

This album marks the recording debut of guitarist John Footitt, who joins founding member Robb Weir, Jack Meille, drummer Craig Ellis, and bassist Huw Holding. Footitt's guitar work complements the album's muscular and contemporary sound. Tygers of Pan Tang collaborated with producer and musician Marco Angioni to achieve the desired sonic impact, translating their ambitions into a cohesive and powerful final product. The striking album artwork was created by Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art, perfectly capturing the spirit and energy of "Electrifyed."
