Doveland

Explore the enigmatic world of Django Django's sixth studio album, 'Doveland'. Inspired by an urban myth of a vanished town, this record delves into the band's most personal and focused work to date. Moving away from their previous genre-hopping style, the band collaborated with producer Nick McCarthy and composer Polly Ester in the German countryside. The result is a collection of 12 tracks that blend imagination with lived experiences, subtly shaped by themes of loss, grief, and the transient nature of human connection.

'Doveland' is a concept album born from the intriguing idea of searching for an impossible place. This theme serves as the catalyst for a deeply personal and cohesive listening experience. The album showcases Django Django's evolution, offering a more introspective sound rooted in thoughtful songwriting.
