Adrianne Lenker - songs and instrumentals [Audio CD]

Adrianne Lenker, lead singer and songwriter of Big Thief, presents two intimate and deeply personal albums, 'songs' and 'instrumentals,' recorded in April following the abrupt end of the band's March tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. Retreating to a one-room cabin in the mountains of western Massachusetts, Lenker crafted these raw, emotionally resonant works in complete isolation. This recording is 100% analog-analog-analog (AAA), with no digital processes used at any stage of production, preserving the warmth and authenticity of the performance. The album's artwork features delicate watercolor paintings by Lenker's grandmother, Diane Lee, adding a familial and timeless touch to the release.
