Once a simple real estate agent named Arthur Douglas, Drax's story took a dramatic turn when his family was attacked by the villainous Thanos. While Arthur and his wife were killed, his daughter survived and was adopted by Thanos's father. In an effort to create a being capable of defeating Thanos, Drax was crafted from the soil of the earth and Arthur's soul was placed within the artificial body. Now, Drax travels the galaxy, determined to bring down the Mad Titan once and for all.

In Marvel Champions, Drax is a formidable hero with a range of abilities that make him a valuable ally in battle. His "Fight Me, Coward!" ability forces the villain to attack him, regardless of any other targets, while "Subdue" allows him to reduce the damage dealt by the villain by 3. Plus, the more he is attacked, the more powerful he becomes.

But even when things seem dire, Drax has a few tricks up his sleeves to keep him in the fight. He can sacrifice his extra power to heal himself, and cards like Moondragon and Hard Knocks give him even more survivability. With Drax on your team, you can be confident that he's too stubborn to go down easily.
