The Cars That Ate Paris follows two brothers travelling across Australia who are involved in an accident. The sole survivor is taken in by the residents of Paris, a small town whose strange behavior and alarming accident rate soon prove unsettling. He discovers the town's feral youth rule the streets at night in souped-up cars, leading to an overflowing local hospital.

The Plumber follows an anthropology student and her husband whose lives are disrupted by an overly familiar plumber performing intrusive 'repairs'.
